I know most Realtors start working on setting goals and strategies
during the month of December and NAR sometimes get neglected from our plans. Here are some important areas I might point out within Realtor.org that all real estate agents can benefit from for 2010 and also be a contribution to our industry at the same time.
1. Do You Know Your NAR membership ID number for the Right Tools, Right Now.
You can find your NAR membership ID number on the mailing label on the front of your latest copy of REALTOR® Magazine (your monthly membership magazine) or the NRDS* ID# on your NAR membership card. You can also click on this link to find your ID number online or you can Watch NAR Info Central’s Video FAQ on finding your NRDS number
2. Right Tools, Right Now – Get a copy of the 2009 NAR Profile of Home Buyers and Sellers at No Cost
Thanks to the ‘Right Tools, Right Now’ initiative; you can download the new 2009 NAR Profile of Home Buyers and Sellers for FREE. Take advantage of this updated profile that provides the latest research on today’s housing market including the effect of the first-time home buyer tax credit.
3. Also I might recommend you pick up a FREE online FHA Toolkit.
Every REALTOR® who wants to sell more homes will benefit from the FHA Toolkit, and information on FHA loans which includes video, FAQ’s, and guides to major FHA insured loan programs.
4. Help NAR and YOUR Industry by getting setup on the REALTOR Action Center
Now more than ever, it is critical for REALTORS® across America to come together and speak with one voice about the issues facing our profession and our country. From City Hall to the US Capitol, our elected officials are making decisions that have a huge impact on the real estate industry.
I’m sure you have many other goals concerning production, education, and personal that need to be addressed. Once you get setup on these programs, I would encourgae you to keep moving forward. Remember, if you don’t write it down, chances are, you won’t do it. As St. Nike says: Do It Now!
