Marketing Your Listings and You, on Trulia and Zillow

Two Major portals that I use for marketing listings are Trulia and Zillow. Both have tons of information, allow for a personal profile, and give you an opportunity to claim your listings.

Trulia is a real estate search engine that helps the e-consumer find homes for sale and provides real estate information at the local level to help buyers make better decisions in the process. This is a great place for you, as an agent to place your profile (FREE), claim and post your listings, and build relationships with new contacts. Trulia is also a tool for real estate professionals to market their listings, view real estate data and promote their services. If you are a broker or agent, they also have a Real Estate Professionals section just for you.

Zillow.com is an online real estate service dedicated to helping you as an agent, get an edge in real estate by providing you with valuable tools and information. Once they hatched their idea, they needed a name. “Zillow” evolved from the desire to make zillions of data points for homes accessible to everyone. But a home is about more than data – it is where you lay your head to rest at night, like a pillow. Thus, “Zillow” was born. You should set up a FREE profile on Zillow, post or claim your listings, and take advantage of the many tools they have to offer.
