I downloaded the new improved app for Google Mobile on my iPhone the other day and have been convinced that it really is a smart phone. I use the Quick Search Box (QSB)

You can type your desired “Subject” in the box to search while the Quick Search Box provides suggestions as you type, making it easy to access whatever you’re looking for by typing just a few characters.

Here’s the cool part. You can choose to hold it up to your ear, wait for the tone and say, “PIZZA” and it will search pizza shops within the area you’re currently located. If you say, “McDonald’s”, it will list all the McDonalds stores within the area you’re located. I think you get what I mean by smart phone. To give you one more example, I said “Delta Township” and the Google search opened within a few seconds and even offered to allow me to map it.

I can Search Google from my iPhone, and never say “I don’t know” again, in addition to a mobile-optimized blend of universal search results, easy-to-press tap-to-call links, expandable map links, and more.
