The 10 Things Real Estate Agents Can Do to Excel Their Business 
in 2010 does not take in the fact that education and staying abreast to the constant changes taking place in our industry are almost a daily responsibility of every Realtor who takes their profession seriously. (That’s a different post)
1. Build inventory of well maintained salable listings listings.
2. Send a postcard to everyone you know emphasizing the fact that the Home Buyer Tax Credit expires on may 1, 2010, so they should get started early marketing their home.
3. Call all your centers of influence contacts to remind them you’re in the real estate business and appreciate their referrals.
4. Update all your sites with fresh content, photos, (Minimum 20) and proper keywords.
5. Make sure your Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook accounts are current, well profiled, and scheduled for regular postings. (You do have these social media accounts, don’t you?)
6. Begin a well planed F.S.B.O and Expired Listing campaign as part of your daily prospecting activities.
7. Get your listings properly marketed on a website that syndicates to major portals. (Minimum 25 sites) Point2Agent is excellent and reasonably priced.
8. Use Postlets.com or other Flyer campaign to syndicate your listings.
9. Get your Blog or Blogs updated and schedule a time each day, every other day or weekly (minimum) that you wil be posting about real estate in your community, using the right links, keywords and excellent content. (You do Blog, don’t you?)
10. Remind all your contacts, friends, and followers on the Social Media sites that you love referrals and you look forward to helping and serving them, their friends, and family, with all their real estate needs.
